OTA - CORUSCANT UNDERWORLD

The year is 3240 LY.

Coruscant has been the capital of the galaxy for over a millenium. Originally the home of the human race, over time the Galactic City has taken over the whole planet, and it is a maze of skyscrapers, buildings, and warren-like streets far below. The Galactic Senate meet in the senate building, and while there are rumours in the Jedi Temple of the Sith's return, no one suspects that danger looms just over the horizon.

For now, there is peace.

... on the surface, at least. The warren of noise and people down on the streets of Coruscant is never quiet. Here the sky is a myth, the sun is something only dreamed of, and the law is something you can outrun, if you're fast and smooth-talking enough. Anything can be bought or sold here, for a price. Anyone can meet here incognito, though never unwatched. If you need someone found (or killed). If you need information. Everything's down here, if you know where to look.

Here you'll find criminals and congressmen rubbing shoulders, outlaws and murderers, religious devotees, drunkards, soldiers (working or drinking), jedi, and civilians. You'll find danger and adventure, but probably not peace.

[ooc: This is set before the Phantom Menace, but characters of all timelines are welcome. Post your characters with a toplevel, feel free to use Wookiepedia if you need inspiration for a setting. Any character from any Star Wars franchise is welcome, even OCs and AUs of characters from other fandoms put into a Star Wars setting.
